Keep them safe? Make them ugly!
Technical Product Manager, Gary got a call from a customer named Joe who lives and works in the Southern U.S.
Joe has a tip for keeping your Christmas trees from being stolen this season. Make them ugly with non-permanent paint. Joe even offered to share a recipe for ugly paint with his fellow Ben Meadow's customers:
1-gal. Water
15-oz. Hydrated Lime
4-oz. Wilt Pruf
3-oz. Food Dye [Your choice of color; as long as it's ugly.]
Mix and apply. The paint will wash off after a couple of rain falls.
